Bid for TfL town centre boost

Enfield Council has submitted an outline bid to Transport for Londonís Liveable Neighbourhoods Programme. If successful, it will form part of the large-scale regeneration of Enfield Town, in line with the areaís masterplan, and in consultation with local communities and traders.

The plans would encourage walking, cycling and the wider use of public transport .

Transport for London is expected to receive funding requests for Liveable Neighbourhoods from across the capital, with an announcement on successful bidders from the first round scheduled for March 2019.
