Three lettings totalling 1,858sq m have been completed at SEGRO's Great Cambridge Industrial Estate in Enfield, taking the occupancy rate at the estate to over 90%.
An unnamed sports entertainment company has agreed a 10-year lease for 1,603sq m across two units while lighting equipment provider SHL will occupy a 335sq m building on a 10-year lease to store its lighting and rigging equipment. The Universal Tyre Company (Deptford) agreed a 10-year lease on 269sq m for storage and distribution.
After spending a decade on the Great Cambridge Industrial Estate, A W Electrical Supplies, a family run independent electrical wholesaler, took another 10-year lease at its 228sq m unit, on improved terms.
With just three units remaining available to lease, Alan Holland, SEGRO'S business unit director, greater London, said: "This increase in activity levels demonstrates that the demand for high quality warehouse space in Enfield continues apace, as this borough of London continues to prove an attractive location for businesses operating in London and the south east. Furthermore, A W Electrical Supplies' decision to remain in its unit is testament to this point and the quality of space on the estate."
