Enfield features 10 of the best parks in the country, according to recent findings.

Arnos and Broomfield have been awarded Green Flags this summer for the first time by UK charity Keep Britain Tidy.

Bush Hill Park, Trent Country Park, Jubilee Park, Oakwood Park, Town Park, Forty Hall Park, Grovelands Park and Pymmes Park retained the recognition.

One of the greenest boroughs in London, Enfield has more than 900ha of parkland managed by the Enfield Council.

Councillor Daniel Anderson, cabinet member for environment, mentioned guided walks, outdoor gyms, play equipment, cycle paths and free entertainment among the features available to residents which made the parks successful. He also praised the job done by park staff and friends groups.
