A partnership between construction firm Durkan and the Enfield Community Engagement Team is creating career opportunities for people in Enfield.
The project offers work experience for budding construction workers on development sites such as Dujardin Mews – part of the wider Alma Estate regeneration, which Durkan is bringing forward.
Site experience is needed in order to complete a full construction apprenticeship. Learners must complete an NVQ2 qualification that includes assessment on site.
Participants in the scheme include Ponders End Youth Centre, the Construction Industry Training Board, Job Centre Plus, and local FE colleges.
