Hospitals, schools, facilities management and construction businesses attended an Enfield Council-hosted event to find out how they get can get involved with energy-saving initiatives.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) were given tips on accessing government-backed energy saving and carbon reduction services. Public-sector organisations which might be interested in funding such projects, also attended.
The event was part of the RetroFit London project, which offers support to SMEs on issues such as carbon reduction.
Councillor Alan Sitkin, Enfield Council’s cabinet member for economic regeneration & business development, said: “This event was absolutely key in not only pushing the growth and importance of low carbon developments, but allowing companies and providers to network.”
