Enfield Council has rejected plans for a 250-home development on the former Middlesex University campus in Cat Hill.

The council’s planning committee said that the scheme of five six-story blocks was out of keeping with the look of the area.

Housing association London & Quadrant, which was behind the scheme, expressed disappointment at the decision.
