Deal signed to regenerate housing estate

Enfield Council has signed a deal with developers which will see the regeneration of a major housing estate.

The deal, with Essex firm Mulalley, will see 491 new homes built on the Ladderswood Estate.

Planning applications are expected to be submitted next month, with the first new homes to be ready by 2014.
