National Grid has handed over a former gasworks in Ponders End so that a new school can be built.

Oasis Academy Hadley will move into a new £27 million building on the land, with the first pupils expected to move in from September.

Developer Balfour Beatty is expected to submit a planning application for the building work imminently.
